Dorothy Hillmann was a neurological and orthopaedic physiotherapist until her retirement . The Concussion Clinic is closed as of September 30, 2024. She is the Clinical Director of The Concussion Clinic. She graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy in 1976. In addition she completed a 3 year program for a Diploma in Homeopathy in 1993. She has been involved in research and/or research projects in addition to her extensive experience in hospital, clinic, rehabilitation, school, and community care settings. Nine years of functional research was preformed to determine the best combinations of therapies to address all levels of severity of brain injury.
She was co-author on a functional manual/book, that was bilingual and illustrated for sensorimotor stimulation of mentally and or physically challenged children; on a brochure on "Hemiplegia" done in French and English; and a Neurological Evaluation Form (and its procedures), for the Corporation Des Physiothérapeutes Du Quebec, (licensing body), which was utilized as the standard for physiotherapists for assessing and documenting neurological impairment.
Dr. Ken Oda has been a chiropractor for 26 years. (Graduated 1998) He graduated from McMaster University (94), with a honours bachelor of physical education. His chiropractic education was completed at Logan College of Chiropractic (98) in St. Louis, Missouri, and he finished his diploma in Chiropractic Neurology (99) under the tutelage of Dr. Ted Carrick, between Logan College and Parker Chiropractic College in Dallas, Texas.
Ken is the head coach of the Women's Fast Pitch team at McMaster University since 2008. He is fully certified level III with the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) in both softball and curling. He also has been teaching corporate first aid, CPR, and AED with Link to Life since 2007.
